To help with the safety of travelers entering the United States, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that it has begun distributing free Covid-19 home test kits to international travelers in U.S airports.
The CDC said it started distributing the Covid-19 home test kits on December 15, 2021.
The current U.S airports that the CDC has begun handing out Covid-19 home test kits to travelers are:
- Minneapolis-St Paul Airport
- Miami Airport
- Chicago O’Hare Airport
The CDC announced that it will soon add Dallas-Fort Worth airport as well as add four additional unidentified international airports in the coming weeks.
The CDC encourages international air travelers to get a new Covid-19 test upon arriving in the U.S.
