Corporate Travel Consultant
Department: Operations
Reports To: Reservation Supervisors & Reservation Manager
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years of Corporate Travel Experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with booking international travel, complex routings and understanding international fare rules.
• Minimum of 5 years on SABRE and other GDS experience is a plus.
• Mid office Quality Control experience is a plus
• Excellent Skills in the following areas: Follow-up, Organization, Analytical, Flexibility, Customer Service, good decision making capabilities, Written and Verbal communication, Time Management skills.
• Must have excellence attendance and punctuality.
• Must demonstrate Professional Behavior and be a positive team player.
• Flexibility with work hours to meet the client demands and those of TSI.
• Must have experience with Executive Travel.
• AirPass & PassPlus experience preferred.
• Must be experienced in airline upgrade procedures.
• Excellent documentation skills.
Strategic Objectives:
• Operate within company standards in the areas of customer service, productivity, quality standards and operating procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of the travel industry including proficiency on the applicable CRS systems. Proper utilization of CRS System to help improve company commitment to the vendor.
• Ability to produce 350+ transactions monthly.
• Utilize preferred vendors to maximize profit for the company.
• The ability to solve problems and make fact based decisions
• Continuously suggest improvements to benefit the team and organization.
• Ensure that customers travel policies are followed and documented.
• Follow company procedures, guidelines and standards in the areas of customer service, building and updating PNRs, ticketing attendance, and punctuality.
• Assist peers and work together as a team.
• Stay fully informed and abreast of all airline rules and regulations and other industry requirements and accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements.
• Meet Department Goals/Objectives as identified in the Consultant Incentive Plan.
• Document Lost Savings on each applicable reservation.
• Be on time and ready to work at your designated scheduled.
• Attend training as required to increase knowledge and skills.
• Attend and Participate in monthly team meetings.
• Ability to work extended hours as client demands / workload require.
• Keep Manager promptly and fully informed of all matters of significance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
